"Azaleas and Fountain" by Elsie Mendes

watercolor
When the Azaleas are in full bloom in my yard, they beg to be painted.

"Dogwood" by Elsie Mendes

Dogwood blossoms are interesting as well as beautiful, because they change from pure creamy white, to pink, to dark magenta, then put out a bright red berry.

"Ready to Show " by Sara Starr

watercolor
"The first time I saw sheep dressed in colorful outfits at our local County Fair, I just had to smile. Apparently these stylish Lycra bodysuits are used to keep freshly shorn sheep warm and also to make sure they stay clean and white prior to showing. This watercolor is currently on display at the Humboldt County Fair in Northern California."

Pink PJ's by Frances Kuta

I love how this little 5"x 7" sketch turned out. I painted this oil painting for my sister's friend. It is her little granddaughter, in her pink pj's with a good book! I think I should've painted some fairies on the pages.

Screamin' Fun by Camille Regli

oil 16"x20"
This is one of the paintings which I have entered in the Humboldt County Fair. I had been doing a lot of Lazy Landscapes and decided I needed a little challenge. I found an old photo of my daughter and granddaughter and decided to take the challenge. It was a Screamin' Fun challenge.
My paintings are available at Ferndale Arts Gallery.
